- What is Asrat?
- Asrat is a digital church-giving platform for Ethiopia. It gives each church one permanent public giving link, a QR code to print or share, and a separate set of church records.
- How does a church member give?
- A member scans the church QR code or opens its official link, confirms the church name, chooses how much information to share, enters an amount, and follows the payment flow.
- Does each church need its own subdomain?
- No. A short link such as pay.asrat.et/give/public-code is easier to print, share, and trust. The public code opens one church, while Asrat keeps the real church record separate internally.
- How are church records kept separate?
- The public code is only a lookup key. Every gift is resolved to the church’s internal church ID before it is written, so one church cannot share another church’s records.
- Are Telebirr and bank payments live?
- The current presentation environment uses a demo payment adapter. Asrat is prepared for Telebirr and bank, but a real provider is enabled only after its integration and verification are complete.
